    Projects  

 

As our emphasis at Buzz Around is on people, it would be pointless for us not to be involved in the people and projects in our local community. As a result of this we support various projects.

 

We have supported various projects over the past few years with their transport needs and other requirements that they may have. These projects include:

  • Mahube Aids Project in Pretoria - Donations

  • Alberton Old Age Home - Outing for Christmas Party

  • Brackenhurst Children's Place of Safety - Christmas Outing To The Circus

  • Nomalanga Day Care - Soweto - Transport & Gifts for Christmas Party

NOMALANGA DAY CARE - CHRISTMAS PARTY

 

Each year we have the pleasure of transferring the the toddlers from Nomalanga Day Care, which is based in and informal settlement in Soweto, to there annual Christmas Party, which was held on the other side of Soweto.

 

The day care caters for 95 pre-school children, and all the children come from families where there is either no bread winner, or there is one bread winner, who is supporting not only the children in the family, but more often than not, also supporting their extended families.

 

So for us at Buzz Around, it gave us great pleasure in helping with the transport of the children, and also with Christmas gifts for each child.

 

  Environment

  

 

In our line of business, the pressure is always on to make sure that we don't leave to large a footprint on the environment. So we have committed to only using unleaded and cleaner burning fuels. Our vehicles are also chosen based on their fuel consumption, in order to help minimise the impact that the fumes from fuel have on the environment.

 

We also ensure that all our vehicles are serviced regularly, in order to keep them from producing obnoxious fumes.

We are also in the process of exploring bio fuels and vehicles which use hybrid technology.
